Default 82 Hondamatic CM450

Alright, so I purchased my first bike the first week in Oct. Ive got about 15 hours and about 500 dollars into the project. Thats including the price of the bike. I already picked up another project that I will be working on when the first one is complete. Its a Hondamatic CM 450 that I thought would be easy for the wife to start out on. I will update the thread when I get started on it. Henry, you sent me the link for the specs on my CM400 do you know where I can find the specs on this one?

Well, 2 choices.

Do a compression check. If ya got good compression, the rest is easy. Motor needs gas, spark and compression. If ya got those things, it'll run. Might not be doing the right things at the right time, currently, but thats easy to straighten out.

or

Put the carbs on, hook some gas up, shot of ether and give it a try.

Well, a buddy is rebuilding/cleaning the carbs on the CM400 and then once I figure out what I want to do with the rear lighting it should be ready to roll out. I wasnt going to start on the CM450 just yet but it was just sitting there calling my name. Put in about 3 hours tonight and here is where I am with it.

Lots of eBay parts. I would have chopped of the rear but it was a little late and I dont think the neighbors would like it.
