78 GS750, Build 2, Chop?
Well, spent some time in the garage today, hot wiring up the bike and spraying a little ether in the carb. Fired right off the bat. So, the big debate Im having with myself, (I tend to win those kind of debates, every time!) is, do I part the thing, restore it (very short thought), Bob it, Chop it? Choppin it is winning the arguement so far.
The wifey came around the corner and busted me firing the thing off. Not a good thing, rest assured. So, I had to do the "I'm just messin around" and "What? Why you so mad?" thing and she stomped off. Said I was lying. Huh, go figure! She'll get over it, eventually. Like in five or ten years. Been with her so long, she knows me better than I do.
So, We'll start this off with a couple of pics. This bike was a freebee that a forum member, from another forum, had propped up in the corner of his garage for the last 3 or 4 years and wanted it gone. I obliged in taking it off his hands.
Heres to a good build!
How it looked when I brought it home:

Entered this bike into a build off. Soooooo, its going to be entertaining!
Not sure how many other builders are going to be involved yet, but at least 6 right now.
Need to do some planning as to where its going to end up. Definitely a chop of sorts. Heavy on the sorts...As in, It needs to blow away everything else.
