Decided that cheesy seat bracket they sent with my seat wasnt going on my scoot, so I made my own. Made some rear spring mounts and welded the stuff on. Turned out okay, I think.

Made my forward control mounts and got it welded on. Pulled the motor and finished up some welds. Posting a pic to show the wonderful balmy weather we're currently having here in Roanoke.

Thanks Karl! Its gettin there. Finally scored a titled neck and got that welded on along with battery tray and stuff. Couple more tabs and shell be ready to throw some paint on her. Havent had a lot of free time here lately, but I still got a ways to go. Gave the motor a bath, so its ready for a little sprucing up.

Got the motor painted, needs some polishing now. Neck bearings showed up in the mail today and set the springer up to see what I was going to need for stem length. That ruined me, I was going to cut the springer down as its 16 over but after I saw it...it stays the length it is. just need to re-machine all the holes and make some bushings up.
Need to start looking for ball fields so that I can turn this thing around when I get it on the road!

62 and sunny here today! Actually saw a couple robins! maybe thats the end of winter for us, I hope.
Drug the frame outside and mudded it and shot a couple good coats of primer on it. Probably start drawing up the neck stem as my tapered bearings are here. Probably make the stem the end of the week, if I get a chance.
